Zachary practices in the areas of property law, professional negligence and commercial law.

In the area of property law he has particular expertise and experience in the fields of commercial landlord and tenant law and issues relating to development  land such as options, easements, restrictive covenants and mortgages. Zachary also regularly advises local authorities on a variety of property related issues such as those relating the disposal of land or the management of gypsy and traveller sites.

Zachary has an extensive professional negligence practise, mostly dealing with claims against surveyors, architects and solicitors carrying out conveyancing or litigation. His work often involves complicated factual and legal disputes and he has a particular interest in claims seeking the recovery of lost profits.

Much of Zachary's work involves the construction and application of contracts. He regularly advises and acts in commercial disputes of all kinds including those concerning business sale agreements, joint venture agreements, supply agreements and banking facilities.
